Common Questions

Before you sign up.

Practical answers. Ask Miles or email us if you need more.

Do I need to be a hardcore cyclist?
No. HHH runs four distances — 15, 30, 62, and 100 miles — so first-timers and lifers both have a lane. The 15-mile route is genuinely family-friendly. Flat terrain, good pavement, and SAG support make it one of the most approachable century rides in the Midwest.
What's included with registration?
Route access, full SAG support, aid stations, post-ride food, and the good kind of crowd energy. Members get free entry on select distances — see the membership page for details.
When does registration open?
Registration for HHH 2026 is open now. Prices go up the closer we get to ride day, so locking in early is the move.
Where do proceeds go?
Directly to cycling infrastructure, youth education, and families in Hancock County who need a hand. No layers. No overhead skim. We publish the impact breakdown each year.
What if the weather turns?
HHH runs rain or shine. We'll only pause for genuinely unsafe conditions (severe storms, lightning). In that case we communicate early and loud, and we have a contingency plan.
Can I volunteer instead of ride?
Yes — and volunteers are half of why this event works. Visit the volunteer page to sign up for aid stations, registration, SAG support, or photography.
